The first and the only "unofficial website of the Malayalee Community in Germany" was hosted by www.myladoor.com in December 2000. This has been of immense use to thousands of people within and outside of the Malayalee community since then.

This has now become the official website of "the Malayalee Community in Germany" as a result of formation of German Malayalee Council (GMC) on 1st May 2007 in Wiesbaden. GMC has been formed by a group of senior and younger Malayalees living in Germany.

The main aim of the Council is to serve the Indian Community; especially the Malayalee Community (people from the southern Indian state of Kerala) in Germany, by offering portal services in a manner that would be entirely different from other councils/organisations. Our services will be mainly online through GMC's portal www.germanmalayalee.org.

Our main service platforms are:

1. Information on Malayalee Community in Europe.
2. Database of Malayalees living in Germany.
3. Online chat and discussion forums.
4. Online complaints & suggestions which will be taken up with the concerned authorities.
5. Free partner search platform aiming to find suitable matches among young Malayalees living in Europe.
